The Secret Garden

In these untamed woods lies a secret garden…

Gloriously cool and shady, the leaves protect this place from the hottest summer days. A hammock hangs between the tallest of the trees, swaying in the gentle breeze. There is a small pond, with colorful fish and the soothing sound of the tiniest waterfall. A wooden swing, with vines climbing the worn out threads of rope, hangs from a low lying limb. There is an abundance of flowers, of every color, their fragrance piercing the warm air. There are catnaps to be had, books to be read, shapes to be picked out of wispy white clouds, perhaps a deer to watch grazing. An entire forest at the tips of one human, to explore, to discover, to give sanctuary.

Here lies a secret garden, even if it’s only a dream.
